Our Founder's Journey

Our story began in 1985, under the leadership of Diana Cilliers. In 1992, we embarked on a new chapter, relocating to the captivating backdrop of Cape Town, South Africa.

Since our establishment in 1985, we’ve been dedicated to providing various crafted costumes to elevate the visual storytelling experience.

Hand Crafted

We take great pride in our commitment to detail, and that extends to our handcrafted costume accessories. Each accessory we create is a labor of love, meticulously crafted to enhance the authenticity of the characters and stories they adorn.

Our artisans pour their expertise and creativity into every piece, ensuring they seamlessly integrate with our costumes and elevate the overall visual narrative.

Costume Creation

Our studio houses a manufacturing area located in a spacious, well-lit environment, serving as the perfect central hub for wardrobe operations during production. This open workspace is purposefully designed to accommodate the intricate demands of costume creation.

Here, our talented team of artisans crafts, repairs, and maintains costumes, ensuring that every detail is flawless and each garment is stage or screen-ready.

Our Facilities and Services

Manufacturing Area: Here, you will find our team of designers, pattern cutters, and seamstresses. Bolts of fabric, reels of cotton, and dressmaking dummies line the walls of this area, where our industrious staff work eagerly, bringing to realisation the garments created by our designers.
Reference Library: We provide a comprehensive collection of books, period magazines, and photographs covering fashion and costume design for your use.
Presentation and Fitting Area: This spacious and comfortable environment is available to production companies and stylists who need a convenient space to view the proposed wardrobe. It offers direct access to the workshop should a brief change.
